Last Shabbat, Rabbi Baruch and Rebbetzen Nechama Davis were presented with a certificate for trees planted in the Lord Sacks Forest in Israel to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their joining Chigwell & Hainault synagogue.
Following the service, a Kiddush was held in their honour.
In presenting the certificate, Shul chairman Lindsay Shure, mentioning that a more formal celebration would be held in November, thanked them both for their hard work and dedication to the community over the last 20 years
and for the support, love and friendship they had shown. In addition, he praised them for their work on behalf of the wider Jewish community.
