14 boys from North West London chose to give back to the community this week by playing football for an astounding 13 hours in an effort to raise money for their chosen charities.
The initiative led by 15 year old Amichai Lerer involved the teenagers from Hendon and Edgware football teams using their love of their favourite sport to contribute to the community.

Amichai told us – ‘We chose to give the donations to GIFT as we know GIFT does a huge amount of amazing work in our area, helping provide practical help and food for thousands of people and mobilizing hundreds of teenagers to visit people in hospitals and care homes; and so we particularly wanted to give back to the community in which we live.’
The other boys in the team were Natanel Weinroth, Rafi Onnie, Gavriel Shalom, Joel Schapira, Avi Rees and Binyamin Sharer.

To date, the team have raised £1,660.00 on their Justgiving site. To donate to their cause please follow the link ..
