On Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th June, 18 mad mountaineers undertook the Seed 24 Peaks challenge in the Lake District. In less than 24 hours, each participant who completed the challenge walked over 110,000 steps, ascending the equivalent of 1,400 floors over a distance of 60km and burning over 11,000 calories in the process.

Sponsorship is still coming in but early indications show that at least £25,000 has been raised for Seed through this challenge.

“It has been an honour fundraising for such a fantastic organisation in Seed, which is so close to many people’s hearts including my own” – Dov Horwitz
