Last week, Tribe’s group of participants returned from various programmes run over the winter holiday period.
Two successful Winter Warmer camps for pupils in school Years 7 and 8 took place over 5 days and included an exciting range of activities.
In addition to socialising and enjoying some downtime with their peers, participants went ice-skating and bowling, whilst also taking part in a scavenger hunt and a talent show. Internally run programmes by leaders also included a supper quiz and a murder mystery evening.
Speaking about the success of the winter camps, Tribe Senior Fieldworker, Michael Taylor, said: “Tribe’s winter programmes have become a staple of the year for our participants. Once again, it is wonderful to see so many young people from a number of communities engaged and inspired, whilst relaxing and socialising at the same time. I am sure that such programmes are helping to educate future community leaders.”
