Immanuel College is proud to announce excellent A-Level and BTEC results for the Class of 2024, reflecting significant academic achievement across the board. They excelled with an impressive 25% of grades attained at A*, up from 14% in 2023. A* grades increased by 11 percentage points from 2023 against a 0.4 percentage point national average increase.

Immanuel College achieved 59% A*-A grades. The results have outperformed every sector nationally, with averages of 49% for the private sector, 41% for selective grammar schools, 27% for academies and 22% for comprehensive schools.

 

More than 10% of students attained three or more A* grades (or BTEC equivalent). So many students performed exceptionally well including our top performing student Jacob Kenley who achieved 4 A* and will be proceeding to Imperial College London to study Mechanical Engineering.

DESTINATIONS SECURED

The success of our students is further highlighted by their university placements. 83% of Immanuel College UCAS applicants have secured their first-choice destination. Notably, three of our top achievers will be pursuing Mechanical Engineering at prestigious institutions such as Imperial College London and Bristol. Additionally, numerous students will be attending Russell Group universities, including several headed to the University of Bristol, Leeds and Birmingham for degrees such as English, History, Business/Finance, Languages and Fashion.

MAGNIFICENT MATHS MARKS 

Maths continues to be a strong suit at Immanuel College. 47% of A-Level Maths students achieved an A*, while a remarkable 100% of Further Maths students earned A*-A grades.

ECONOMIC EDGE 

Our Economics department celebrated stand-out success, with 42% of students securing the top A* score.

INDEPENDENT THINKERS INSPIRE

Twenty-three students went above and beyond their A-Level studies by completing the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), all of whom achieved top marks. An impressive 78% of these students attained an A*, demonstrating their dedication and capability in independent research and critical thinking.
