The Kisharon Langdon Enterprise Team were hard at work for Rosh Hashanah, balancing their regular duties while contributing to various special projects for the community. Among their many accomplishments, the team painted and decorated 95 honey dippers, weighed, packaged and labelled products for the Kisharon Langdon Equal, Gift and Homeware store and assembled honey cupcake kits for sale. The Equal Store also successfully sold over 1,000 jars of personalised honey, alongside beautiful, festive Rosh Hashanah tableware and exclusive confectionary from Ooh La La. In collaboration with the Good Days programme, the team designed additional cards, which were packaged and sold in the shop, adding a creative and personal touch to the chag preparations.
In a heartfelt gesture, the team designed and distributed 220 Rosh Hashanah gift packs to volunteers, each containing a handwritten card, confectionery, apple and honey tea. These packs were prepared with great care by the people Kisharon Langdon support, with each hand-painted card being unique. Additionally, they baked around 500 individual honey cupcakes, paired with pots of honey, as gifts for the organisation’s staff and hand wrote each staff members name in their card to make it personal. These efforts not only showed appreciation to volunteers and staff but also provided the team with the opportunity to learn new skills, including gift wrapping and baking, all while fostering a sense of community and kindness.
