Nothing is free in life it seems to my mind
Yet these people give so freely of their time

Last Sunday night unfortunately, I had occasion to call an ambulance
Hatzola, provided in the true sense of the word an, “Emergency,” response
Within minutes, it had arrived, and at my flat door
Were two men – I couldn’t want for anything more

So, I decided to write this poem
Now, about these two gentlemen
I am referring to Jason and Chaim
Their interactions with me represented efficiency and sensitivity personified
Jason and Chaim clearly performed their voluntary duties with great pride
From when they first spoke with me to the hospital handover
They provided me with medical companionship and succour
This on the night I did so appreciate
That to Hatzola – I will happily donate
To help fund their continuing ability
To serve the North London Community

I was indeed fortunate to have recourse to this non-profit organization
Our Jewish community is so blessed to have this resource to call upon
So, I end this poem by expressing my gratitude to Chaim and Jason
