Kisharon pupils enthusiastically participated in Mitzvah day this year.
Pupils dropped off some items at a Tesco food bank drop off in Hendon, which was destined for Chalk Farm food bank. Pupils travelled there themselves on the bus. The school also had a PJ Library reading session from stories about doing Mitzvot, an assembly and a Mitzvah board to collect all Mitzvah notes that the children bought from home and in school. Prizes were won for those who had performed many extra Mitzvot.
Some of the mitzvah notes brought in centred around activities including helping to clean up their environment, doing shopping, using kind words, sharing with friends and listening to instructions from adults.
