John Cleese who vowed to leave Britain if Brexit was implemented is heading to Tel Aviv for a one-man comedy show on 1 September.
Monty Python, Fawlty Towers and a number of successful movies including A Fish Called Wanda with Jamie Curtis and several James Bond films playing “M” is just some of his best known work. At 79 years old, he may just remain in Israel “if” the UK leaves the EU on March 29.
The usual Israel haters on social media came out against John Cleese visiting the “racist apartheid Israel” and called upon him to cancel the show. But reports say as soon as tickets went on sell ranging from NIS 204 to NIS 444 (shekels), they sold out immediately, so perhaps he will put on some extra dates.
