Pupils at Wohl Ilford Jewish Primary School have been thinking about others and have been working within the community.
Year Two pupils organised a special tea party for their grandparents and other family members. They planned the menu, set the tables, plated the food and served the grown-ups. It was so lovely seeing the adults spending quality time with the children.
The whole school, from Reception to Year Six, also participated in a Mishloach Manot initiative ahead of Purim. They decorated and filled over 200 boxes of Mishloach and Manot and these were distributed to Jewish Blind and Disabled independent living tenants and through the Holocaust Survivors Centre via the charity ‘Cards of Care’.
