Over 280 young people took part in fundraising activities raising a combined amount of £206,000 for the organisation Shabbat Walk.

190 girls took part in a mud run on the 2nd Aug. The girls completed different obstacles whilst getting covered in mud. Yael Forta who ran the mud run said “the girls had the best time whilst also being able to fundraise for a cause they believe in. It was so great to see the smiles on their faces”

90 boys took part in a two day hilly cycling challenge in the Chiltern hills, with the faster groups riding 220km. The  cyclists have been training throughout the year to be able to complete the ride.
The ride was accompanied by 50 adults who ensured the safety of the young riders.
At the end of the first day the riders were treated to some light entertainment by a comedian hypnotist plus catered meals

Avi Dubiner who project managed the bike ride said “The boys worked so hard to train and fundraise for this bike ride. We owe a huge thank you to all our riders, adult riders, Hatzolo, drivers, helpers, sponsors and donors. None of this would have been possible without them”

Shabbat walk CEO Eliezer Gilbert, who also rode, said “Our Charity focuses on the youth of our community and how they can get involved in giving. It’s great to see so many of them actively involved in ensuring the continuity of all the work we do whilst also bonding and having a great time. Especially right now when there are so many restrictions
A massive thank you to the entire community for supporting us and donating so generously. Also a big thank you to the event sponsors  PGPT, ELI-G Estates and FCS”
