Mychiel Balshine has been sharing details of Whitefield Shul’s latest initiative!

We teamed up with our local council, Bury council. We printed and provided special customized hi-viz vests with our synagogue logo on it.

The council provided us with professional litter pickers, special rubbish bags and we assigned local parks and streets to participants.

70 participants got  involved and around 50 bags of litter were collected!

Almost everyone involved was thanked by passers by of all races who exclaimed how much they  appreciated the project and the synagogues work in arranging it. Hoping to make it an annual event!
