2020 was a rollercoaster of a year and one that no one expected or could have imagined. As we embark on 2021, Kisharon invite people to take part in a range of ‘Challenge events’ to help make a difference.

Kisharon have a fantastic selection of events planned and you can even come up with your own. Take on any event in aid of the charity and Kisharon will support you all the way. Be part of something very special and help raise vital funds.

Kisharon believe everyone is unique and they support each individual so they can progress, achieve independence, enjoy life and help them to become valued members of their community – through meaningful learning, vocation and a fulfilling social life.

Taking on a Kisharon challenge will help make a difference to hundreds of people with learning disabilities and their families.

With Kisharon you can sign up to the Royal Parks Marathon, the Maccabi GB Fun Run, the London Bridges Walk, the Jerusalem Marathon and the London Marathon*. If you would rather come up with your own challenge such as a triathlon, a cycle event, a sky dive or even a tough mudder, Kisharon will support you all the way. Children can get involved too and Kisharon would love to hear ideas that people come up with.

“No one could have predicted a year ago we would be starting the new year in lock down so what better time to think positively and challenge yourself to do something for charity. Challenging yourself on something you’ve wanted to do for ages and doing it yourself, with a family member or a team of friends can reap benefits in achieving a goal and helping you to feel positive whilst raising money for charity too. – and what better way to add a purpose to the daily exercise most of us are doing anyway!”  says Ian Tate, Challenge Events Manager at Kisharon.
