This past weekend saw over 180 campus students come together for the Aish on Campus Big Weekend. The students enjoyed the grounds and facilities of the Woodland Grange Hotel in Leamington Spa whilst being uplifted by the Shabbat atmosphere, delicious food and world-class Jewish education. The classes that focused on core areas of relationships, including the world, God and ourselves. Participants spent shabbat attending formal and informal sessions run by Aish educators over the weekend and creating new networks and friendships with other students from across the UK.

Saturday night featured an entertaining Casino evening with more gourmet catering throughout. Sunday morning saw several workshops run on a range of educational topics and the weekend ended in the early afternoon with students having enjoyed themselves and gained so much from the experience. Having the opportunity to come together after a difficult twenty months was much anticipated and the experience that followed did not disappoint.

Arranging one of the biggest campus students residential events since the return to campus for students was a huge undertaking and involved weeks of detailed planning to ensure that al covid requirements were followed and the safety and wellbeing of the participants remained the prioty.

“Seeing the enjoyment and inspiration of so many young Jews under one roof, after waiting so long to be able to provide these so very needed experiences was truly memorable and very very special” Rabbi Gideon Goldwater Director of Aish on Campus.
