GIFT held its first ever exclusively YP packathon at the GIFT Giving Hub in Hendon last week. Organised by the Young GIFT Committee, 25-30 people were expected.
Over 60 YPs crammed into the warehouse, packing food parcels for GIFT’s 250 families receiving weekly support.

The attendees were blown away by the packing session and 100 % confirmed they would return to more GIFT volunteering events in the future.

Jonah Cohen, who attended the event, said “In an era of self-absorption, a shining light emerged in the suburbs of Hendon, when 65 Young Professionals came together at the GIFT Warehouse to create an atmosphere of ‘Giving’, as they prepared food for the families GIFT support and discussed how they would contribute to the community. The vibrant ambiance coupled with the arrival of the new dynamic CEO at GIFT, Rabbi Sandor Milun, has changed the landscape to a brighter future.”

GIFT inspires the next generation to become givers through dynamic education, impactful volunteering and supporting those in need. For more information contact 0208 457 4429
