Helen Clarke is jLiving’s most senior tenant and celebrated her 103rd birthday this week at home at with family and neighbours, at Harmony Close where she has lived for 17 years.
When asked about the secret to having such a long and happy life Mrs Clarke said “You should live life to the full, the way you want to and not to please others.” Having a little spiel hasn’t done Mrs Clarke any harm either as she lists her passions as playing Kalooki and going to the casino.
Mrs Clarke has one daughter, two grandsons, great granddaughters and a grand-dog who she is very close to and all bring her much pleasure. Happy Birthday Mrs Clarke!
