Two hundred people attended a concert performed by the London Jewish Male Choir at Chigwell and Hainault Synagogue on Sunday night to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Rabbi Baruch and Rebbetzen Nechama Davis joining the community. Rabbi Julian Shindler and Michael Goldstein, President of the United Synagogue, together with the Shul chairman, Lindsay Shure paid tribute to the Davis, praising them for the wonderful work they have both done over the past 20 years within the local and wider Jewish communities.
They were presented with a book of photos and tributes from the community, including the Chief Rabbi and Lord Sacks, together with an engraved sterling silver Chanukiah to commemorate the occasion.
