Project ImpACT organised an amazing Wrap-a-thon with Camp Simcha and Light up a Life on Sunday at the Jewish Museum. Over 70 ImpACT volunteers wrapped 100’s of gifts for seriously ill children, which will be delivered to patients in 100 hospitals across London, and goodie packs for medical staff. There was a buzzing amazing atmosphere in the room and the volunteers worked their socks off to wrap as many packages as possible in 2 hours!

The volunteers were addressed by Neville Goldschneider, Chief Executive of Camp Simcha, who shared all the wonderful work that Camp Simcha does. We were very grateful to hear some inspiring words from Aaron Maurice, who was supported by Camp Simcha during his illness and who shared how appreciative he was to receive these gifts in hospital and how it brightened up his day during these challenging times.

Raphella Coleman from South Hampstead synagoague said ‘It was a really meaningful experience knowing that we were helping others and could be making a child’s day. There was a lively atmosphere and everyone by everyone. This sums up Project ImpACT, a way to give to others and strengthen the community while having fun and meeting new people’
