Ingredients:
- ½ Cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 1/3 Cup caster sugar
- 1 ¼ cups self-raising flour
- 2 Tbsp golden syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp milk or soya milk
- 2/3 cup white chocolate chips
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180’C/Gas mark 4 and grease 2 baking trays
- Beat the butter with sugar until light and fluffy
- Add the flour, syrup and cinnamon and mix well
- Add the milk
- Add the white chocolate chips
- Place spoonful’s of the mixture on the prepared trays and place in the oven for around 8-10 minutes….be careful not to over bake.
- Remove from the oven when soft and golden brown and place on a wire rack to cool
