Ingredients: 

  • ½ Cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
  • 1/3 Cup caster sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups self-raising flour
  • 2 Tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp milk or soya milk
  • 2/3 cup white chocolate chips

 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180’C/Gas mark 4 and grease 2 baking trays
  2. Beat the butter with sugar until light and fluffy
  3. Add the flour, syrup and cinnamon and mix well
  4. Add the milk
  5. Add the white chocolate chips
  6. Place spoonful’s of the mixture on the prepared trays and place in the oven for around 8-10 minutes….be careful not to over bake.
  7. Remove from the oven when soft and golden brown and place on a wire rack to cool
